Field Day!

It was a great day for Field Day today.  I split up my time between Logan and Trevin, and had a blast helping and watching.  These kids had so much fun!

Had to try out their new sidewalk chalk tools...thanks to some wonderful friends who find the best boy gifts!!  :-)   (BTW...those jammies are their birthday gift from Grammy E!  She made them while she was watching them last week.)

Then we had some chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast and they went off to school.  Later today, I will be taking over these cupcakes for Logan's snacktime.  His favorite team right now is K-State....and his favorite color is PURPLE!  :-)

First Monarch eggs!

Found my first Monarch eggs in my garden today.  I don't know if a Monarch visited my garden or the nursery where I bought the plants, but either way I'm excited!  Just in time to give Trevin one for his birthday today...it was on his wish list.  :-)  I'm so glad he gets excited about these things.  :-)
