Our zoo was open at night for a special "Ice Night" for zoo members to enjoy cold treats and watch the animals enjoy cold treats, too.
The hippos were fun to watch...one of the zookeepers knew just how it wanted its tongue scratched. Hilarious!
This apple soon disappeared after the hippo opened its mouth and let it slide in.

Tiger playing with his icy treat ...until he got a fish out of it and chowed down.
...And the humans with their snow cones. Somehow they got out of their cages. :-)
Had a little time to play on the playground, too...
