Celebrate Spring!

Spring is my favorite season, so it was fun to make these yummy cookies to celebrate the slow, stuttering start of our Spring. The boys enjoyed helping to cut them out and mommy had fun putting her limited decorating talents to work. The colors were pretty anyway! :-)

Trevin had to try his hand at the decorating, too...in the bowls, that is. The question is, how much got in the bowl and how much in his mouth? :-)

Special company!

Happy 1st Day of Spring! This has been a good week. Lots of special privileges and nice weather. Today is in the 70s! Got some shrubs pruned, old plants pulled up and my boys bought me my first flowers to plant today! Pansies! I love them!

Harbinger of Spring!

Today is a warm one...77 per our local weather station! While the boys were playing outside today, I wandered around picking up sticks and was surprised to see the dogtooth violets up and blooming! There's still a chance a freeze might get them, but at least I got to enjoy them today!

The tooth is out!

Trevin was eating his roll at school lunch today and felt something hard! Lo and behold, his tooth had come out. It was so fun for him to go to the school nurse and get his very own "tooth necklace" to hold his first tooth!

Really LOOSE tooth!

Trevin has 3 loose teeth, but one of them got REALLY loose today! ...and good thing, since we can see the permanent tooth coming in behind it. It looks like it might not be lined up quite right, so hopefully there will be enough room and things will line up with time.

Trevin let Daddy help him get it a little loose and then he worked on it some, too. Now we're kind of at a standstill since he decided he didn't want anymore help! He just wants to wait until it "falls out!" Hope that's soon. Of course he can't leave it alone, so it will at least have some help to come out.

A warm February day!

We enjoyed a few days outside with our unseasonably warm days. Here's Logan taking a hit at the tee...yes the tee, not the ball. :-)
