Last snow! (I hope!)

The cold blew in yesterday afternoon and this morning the ground was covered in white! It was pretty and the only reason I can enjoy it in the slightest is that it is supposed to be warm on Monday! :-)

Can't use this until it gets a little wamer! Can't wait!

A friend of mine makes cakes and I was the lucky recipient of her services in our holiday service exchange this past December. So today was the day and this is what she made! Isn't it lovely? She MADE the morning glory flowers herself. One of my favorite flowers. The cake is chocolate and the frosting cream cheese, so it should taste good, too! Want a bite? :-)

Race Day at the Museum!

This was so fun! The boys got to sit in a real race car, do a computer race game inside a race car, meet some real race car drivers and test their skill in the pits. Vroom! Vroom!

Cookie baking!

We needed cookies, the boys needed something to do...so we baked snickerdoodles! They did a great job helping...T got the balls of dough ready and L dipped them in the cinnamon/sugar mixture. They're almost gone already!

Ok...here are the pics of the newly painted kitchen. As you can see, the yellow looks different in different light. It's kind a mix between the two. But I guess what matters most is: I like it. :-) And I can't wait to hang stuff on it and put up a curtain, etc. Come see it for yourself!
