My pianist

Trevin has been taking piano lessons for over a year now and is doing really well, but the other day I just enjoyed him messing around on the piano...it sounded so pretty! I took a long video, but too long for the long, so here is a short taste of his performance. (Oh, and and he said, "Logan wants to sleep until screen time, so I'm playing him lullabies!") :-)

Black Swallowtail Study

Two of my Black Swallowtail chrysalises hatched today...one male and one female. It was really neat to get to compare them side by side. So amazing! Such perfect little creatures!

A trip to the zoo...

It was fun to see the African Penguins today. They are a traveling exhibit, so they won't be here for much longer. They weren't very active today, but who would be in this heat?
